Barnwood Arboretum
Barnwood Park and Arboretum were once part of the grounds of Barnwood House, a private hospital which closed in the 1960. The house became a private dwelling and Gloucester City Council acquired part of the grounds to create Barnwood Park.
After demolition of the house in 2001, Barnwood Arboretum was given to Gloucester City Council and designated a Local Nature Reserve in 2002.
