People often wish to help rough sleepers, but since Covid -19 there is a drive towards a cashless society, and it is increasingly likely that people don’t carry cash to hand to someone in need. A BillyChip provides an alternative to handing out cash and can be purchased and given instead of cash that can be exchanged for a drink or food at participating businesses. It breaks down barriers, allowing people to engage and offer some help to a homeless person. This small act of kindness not only helps the person in need but also helps to build better communities within our towns and cities.
