Annexes

If classed as a separate dwelling and having its own banding a discount may apply.

Do I qualify?

A discount may apply as long as:

  • the annexe has it’s own Council Tax band
  • it’s classed as a separate dwelling
  • it’s occupied by a relative of a Council Tax payer of the main property, or
  • it’s used as part of the main property

A 50% discount will apply to the annexe only.

 

How do I apply?

Contact us at revenues@gloucester.gov.uk. You must include the Council Tax account reference number in your email to us and the word reference in the subject of your email. For example 'Reference [Your Council Tax number]'
