Dementia Friendly Gloucester

Gloucester City Council is part of the Gloucester Dementia Action Alliance (GDAA), a local forum working to make Gloucester a more dementia friendly place.  The alliance is made up of public and private sector workers, volunteers and members of the local voluntary and community sector.

The aims of the Gloucester Dementia Action Alliance are to:

  • to ensure that everyone in the county who is living with dementia is understood, respected and supported
  • enable people to continue to enjoy living and contributing to their own community
  • support the wider community to understand dementia
