Selling Goods & Services to the Council

Contracts to supply goods and services – Supplying the South West

For further information on council opportunities or contracts, please see www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk

As well as advertising our tender opportunities here – Gloucester City Council also uses the South Wests regional procurement portal, a "one stop shop" where suppliers can get contract & tender information on many councils in the region.

Helping councils and suppliers work together, "Supplying the South West" is a regional portal giving suppliers a window on contract opportunities and current contracts.

Without registering, you can use the portal to look for information about existing contracts and new opportunities from a growing number of councils in the South West.

If you register (free of charge), you can:

  • post a profile of your company, indicating what sorts of opportunity you are interested in
  • receive e-mail notifications whenever opportunities matching your profile become available
  • register an expression of interest in a published opportunity and request contract documentation to be sent to you

How to register

As a supplier you can register your details via the Supplying the South West website and identify the categories of products, services or works that you wish to be considered for.

Registration is free, quick and easy. Once registered, the system will send you an email notification when relevant opportunities are advertised. You can also log in and search for available opportunities across the South West.

If you're already registered with "Supplying the South West", you may need to change your company profile to include Gloucester City Council.

Registering for specific tenders

Please note that registering your business on "Supplying the South West" portal will not guarantee that you will be registered for any specific tender opportunity.

You must still register for any individual tenders as and when they're advertised.

The portal now also publishes Gloucester City Councils contracts register.
