To limit the amount of non essential social contact, the Museum of Gloucester, Gloucester Guildhall and Blackfriars are closing to the public and events either cancelled or postponed until further notice.

news

Due to government advice we have taken the decision to close Gloucester's art and cultural venues for the foreseeable future to limit non essential social contact.

The health and well being of customers, artists and staff is our highest priority.

In the interest of your safety all Museum of Gloucester and Gloucester Guildhall events up to Friday 17 April will be rescheduled or cancelled, and the venues and Tourist Information Centre will close to the public.

Due to the unprecedented nature of this situation, it may be necessary for more events to be rearranged in the coming weeks. Staff are in constant contact with customers for upcoming workshops and events. We will continue to update our social media pages with new information as we have it.

Ticket holders will be contacted individually to arrange transfers of tickets, and refunds if required. If you bought tickets via a 3rd party seller (See Tickets, Ticketmaster etc), please contact them directly.

Please be aware the teams will be extremely busy whilst they try to assist ticket holders as quickly as possible.

We ask that customers only contact venues with urgent enquiries only, to allow the teams to work through each event accordingly.

Please note the Museum and Guildhall receptions will remain closed during this time, in line with the government advice on social distancing.

We would like to thank you for your understanding and cooperation, and for your continued support of our venues. We are extremely disappointed to need to make such arrangements, but the health of our customers and staff must take priority in these uncertain times.
